Students interviewed their parents, relatives and neighbours to find out the causes and effects of climate change in 20th and 21st century. They presented their findings in the classroom and categorised the effects on plants, animals, weather pattern and human activities.
Students brainstormed the effects of climate change in the class. Then, they interviewed their parents, relatives and neighbours to find out the causes and effects of climate change in 20th and 21st century. Mumbai Public School Bhavani Shankar Road, Dadar collaborated with Vietnam school. Students shared the causes and effects of climate change. They also shared possible solutions of climate change. It was a great learning experience. Students also got exposure to interact with foreign students through climate action project.
In the forth week of Climate Action Project students brainstormed ideas about climate change solutions. They revised the causes and effects of climate change. They made a list of solutions and explained in deatail to their classmates.
Students also decided not to use plastic in daily life. They also presented alternatives to plastic. Another thing is that students replaced their traditional lightbulbs by LED lightbulbs.
Moreover, students made nests for sparrows as the number of sparrows are decreasing day by day.
This week we created a team - Bhavani Shankar on EarthProject App and students have started recording of carbon and plastic actions on the app.
