The students had a great time discussing climate change and it's causes locally. They defined is as the changes in the weather condition which is brought about by the emission of green house gases into the atmosphere. The students were given sticky notes to list the causes of climate change they are aware of. They enjoyed working in their small groups.

Students started exploring different reasearch skills and shared some of their findings in the attached file.

Definition of Climate Change:

The rapid change of temperature and environment, different effects in different areas, caused due to the release of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, as a result of human actions.

• What will happen if no trees around 
• What will happen if there is no night time

What is climate action?

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, such as through variations in the solar cycle

Anything which disturbs the natural cycle and leads to the harmful and unwanted consequences to the nature.

We all love being with nature and enjoying the beauty of nature. But did we notice how often the climate is changing? Sometimes it's extremely hot, whereas sometimes it just starts raining suddenly. This is all due to the excess use of chemicals released out of the factories, rising temperature, more use of oil, gas, coal, and more carbon dioxide released in the atmosphere which warms up the earth. This is because on one hand - there is excess use of chemicals, harmful gases released out of the factories, burning more oil, gas, and coal which releases more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. And on the other hand, destroying forests and not having enough trees to absorb that carbon dioxide. This results in rising temperatures and warms up the earth.

The potential future effects of global climate change include more frequent wildfires, longer periods of drought in some regions, and an increase in the duration and intensity of tropical storms.

THE STUDENTS PARTICIPATED ENTHUSIASTICALLY IN THE ACTIVITY ON CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT. THEY WORKED TOGETHER TO IDENTIFY THE CAUSES OF CLIMATE CHANGE, APPLIED CREATIVITY AND COLLABORATED VIRTUALLY TO MAKE PROJECT .

To create awareness about #SDG13 the#IBPYP #Balanced learners of MOUNT ABU JUNIOR initiated Climate Action project. 
The #IB leaners of the school enthusiastically took #Action and performed a #PlantationDrive. The learners truly believe
 in 'Lets plant together for a Greener Future.'

"The nation that destroys it's soil destroy's itself." To create awareness about the importance of the #soil, the #IB #PYP learners of the school did a soil conservation activity which reflected upon how soil holds and purify the water.

Using the method of story telling, students at MRG portrayed a dialogue between the Earth of present time v/s Earth of past time. A compartivie dialogue is shown between the two kids highlighting the major events that shows the onset of climate change on Earth.

An introductory session with the students of Grade 6 to 9 took place in the school where the facilitator(s) discussed with the learners the Causes of Climate Change and their ideas and thoughts were taken into consideration. The learners were allowed to brianstorm on the Causes and were given food for thought. 

Students will discuss the causes, impacts and ways to reduce climate change.

Weather is a specific event—like a rainstorm or hot day—that happens over a few hours, days or weeks. Climate is the average weather conditions in a place over 30 years or more.

Causes of climate change.

Burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests and farming livestock are increasingly influencing the climate and the earth's temperature. This adds enormous amounts of greenhouse gases to those naturally occurring in the atmosphere, increasing the greenhouse effect and global warming.

A climate is the average weather in a given area over a period of time. The weather, on the other hand, can change drastically in a matter of hours. Changing the world takes thousands of years. It is, however, complex and has been growing at an alarming rate in recent years.

Climate Change is the long-term changes in global temperatures and other characteristics of the atmosphere. Climate change includes both global warming and its impacts on Earth's weather patterns. 

Climate has changed throughout Earth's long history, but this time it's different. Since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.

Students established a definition on Climate Change by differentiation wether vs. climate, they examined accepted definitions by trusted experts and shared their definitions, understanding of the causes of climate change and their personal connect on a shared padlet wall.

At Kothari International School, Noida, Climate Action Project began with watching documentaries and videos on Climate Change Globally , Locally, and in the immediate surroundings. This was followed by a listing of the causes by the Green Army of our school. The entire middle school participated in this. 

Changes in weather pattern for a period of time

CAP22 was launched on 26th September 2022. Students of grade 6-12 were involved in the activities conducted for week 1. They learned about climate change and its causes in India and reflected on their learnings by making posters, presentations.

Grade II learners divulged the term Climate chnage & further introspected and listed the causes of Climate Change. 

Generating electricity and heat by burning fossil fuels causes a large chunk of global emissions.

Manufacturing and industry produce emissions, mostly from burning fossil fuels to produce energy.

Producing food causes emissions of carbon dioxide, methane, and other greenhouse gases in various ways.

Growing energy demand for heating and cooling, with rising air-conditioner ownership, as well as increased electricity consumption for lighting, appliances, and connected devices, has contributed to a rise in energy-related carbon-dioxide emissions from buildings in recent years.

Students of class explained different pollutions around them 

Just reading and learning makes the topic boring. To involve my students in a fun and engaging way, I asked them to look for the changes in their immediate environment and compare them with the past by speaking to their parents and grandparents. This activity helped my curious students to list and explore the causes of climate change on their own. The kids then explained / presented their learnings and findings in the class and prepared/ gave presentations to make others also aware of the same.

Climate change is a global problem. The planet is warming because of the growing level of greenhouse gas emissions from human activity. If this trend continues, truly catastrophic consequences are likely to ensue from rising sea levels to reduced water availability, to more heat waves and fires.

Students did group discussion to identify the different causes of climate change. They were able to understand the difference between climate and weather. Students of Euro School Airoli ( Mumbai, India) Grade 8, were all enthusiastic to be part of Climate Action Project. We combined Week 1 and Week 2 and asked them to research about causes and effects of climate change. Week 1 started little late for us as we had our First terminal Examination.We are involved in Climate Action Project since last two years so Children were aware of the type of discussion we were planning to have.When we discussed they immediately expressed their view through their drawings and slogans.Students of Grade 3-Grade 8 are involved.We discussed about the cause of Climate change in our locality that is Dombivali,Maharashtra which is located in the western parts of India.

This year we noticed longer dry spells between the rains during the monsoon.In the month of October winter season starts,but this year heavy rains continue till date.This change was noticed by everyone.We have EcoClub activities in our school through which we decided to carry out the action plans.

Climate Change definitions given by students.

Climate Action Week 1 of the project kick started with a group discussion with grade 2 students. A video on climate change was shown to the young climate crusaders. children were then put into small groups to discuss and draw the causes of climate change. Students then presented their work to class. the session ended with a class discussion which was lead by the teacher and responses were elicited from young learners. It was nice to see how students discussed in small groups and expressed quite well in their first ever poster presentation on climate change. On the same day students planted small saplings in school garden. Students happily planted saplings and promised to take care of them, However, we noticed that it was difficult for students to understand that plants have emotions, they can feel the touch and should be taken care of like small babies. We wanted our students to understand that plants have emotions.  To achieve this aim, we read a research paper by JC bose the great Indian Bio physicists who in 1900 proved that plants have emotions using mimosa plant. The same experiment was then shown to paarents and students in the parents orientation program conducted on the next day. Students were given a taks of whispering into plants ears, They were asked to compliment their plants, touch them tenderly and water them regularly. Around 50 parents attended the orientation and enthusiatically participated in discussion and poster making with their children. Furthermore, Parents were assigned task of clicking the real images of caused of Climate change in Mumbai on their way home and upload as many images as possible on the school telegram group.  By the end of the day, the telegram group was loaded with authentic pictures clicked by parents depicting causes of climate change in Mumbai. Additionally,  We created a Climate Action wall at our School and displayed all the posters prepared by parents and students during orientation. Overall, an exciting week with loads of learning and experimentation!

They were introduced to what is Global Warming and the difference between it and Climate Change .Global Warming is the gradual warming of the Earth’s atmosphere, oceans and surface. For this, you need to picture the entire planet increasing in temperature, not just one area. Climate Change is a long-term shift in weather patterns caused by Global Warming. Students worked together in groups to define the the term Climate change and found out the causes for the same.

Each group brainstromed on the causes and made a mind map aswell to elaborate on the causes of Climate Change.

What is the reason for Climate Change?

           Causes of  climate change generating electricity and heat by burning fossil fuels causes a large chunk of global emissions. Most electricity is still generated by burning coal ,oil or gas which produces carbon di oxide and nitrons oxide. powerful green house gases that blanket the Earth and trap the sun's heat.

Causes and effect of Climate Change:

    Fossil fuels, coal, oil and gas are by far the largest contribututor to global climate change, accounting for over 75% of Global green house gas emissions and nearly 90% of all carbon di oxide emissions .

    As Green house gas emission blanket the earth , they trap the sun's heat. This leads to global warming faster than at any point in recorded history. Warmer temperatures over time are changing weather patterns and disrupting the usual balance of nature.This poses many risks to human beings and all other forms of life on Earth.

Definition of Climte Change:

    Climte change refers to the change in the environmental conditions of the earth. This happens due to many internal and external factors. The climatic change has become a global concern over the last few decade. Besides ,these climatic changes affect life on the Earth in various ways.

Cases of Climate Change in locally:

         Carbon di oxide is the main cause of human induced climate change. It has been emitted in vast quantities from the burning of fossil fuels and it continuous to affect the climate system during it's long residence time in the atmosphere .

The biggest contributed to climate change:

         The main cause of climate change is burning fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal . When burnt fossil fuels release carbon di oxide into the air, causing the planet to heat up.

This week we introduced climate action project in our class and with the students of SGIA environmental club. They researched and find out the defination and causes of climate change and share their ideas to each other. 

A brainstorm activity: talking about the wether in Israel in relevance to the seasons and discussing the changes in the climate. 

A groupwork: sum up reasons and effects for local climate change in our country, other group draw suitable pictures and another translate into Arabic. 

Okinawa International School high school students completed the first week task by creating a video with their research, poster, and adding about 20 causes of climate change in Okinawa. 

How do you clean a river?

Don't throw any solid waste into the water streams as it clogs the flow of water thereby leading to pollution. Avoid releasing construction waste into the river. Use organic gardening techniques and avoid using pesticides and other herbicides. Avoid releasing harmful chemicals and oils into storm drains or rivers

Students discussed the defination of Climate chnage and listed the various causes of the same. They shared this information with peers and realised the importance of taking action to check climate change.

We held a competition among 9th grade students on the topic "Causes of climate change". We found out the difference between the concepts of "weather" and "climate". Conducted a discussion on the topic "How can I influence climate change"

Among students of the 9th grade, they held a discussion on the topic "Causes of climate change", made a list of reasons, discussed the meanings of the terms "weather" and "climate" and at the end summed up "How can I influence climate change".

In this event, 9th grade students and I looked at the causes of climate change.  Understand the concepts of climate and weather.  The students' competitive spirit helped them find more causes of climate change.  At the end, the students made a conclusion about how each of them personally can affect climate change.

SK St Patrick is located in an urban area in Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia. There are 731 students studying in this school. The students are engaged in many Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) oriented projects. The students are actively involved in collaborating locally and globally in presenting their environmental actions to protect the environment, oceans and humans well-being. Recently, we have collaborated with Malaysia Nature Society to organise a drive run in creating awareness of plastic pollution so that the students will refuse to use plastic bags and other plastic products. The students are also educated to reduce, reuse and recycle plastic trash at home and in the school. The students are educated to recycle the plastic waste through upcycling so that the plastic trash can be reduced. The remaining plastic trash are sent to a local recycling company for recycling and to generate funds for purchasing dustbins. The students until today have collected 100 kgs of plastic trash and the trash are sent to a local recyling centre for recycling. The students have taken shared responsibility to "Say No to Plastic". This campaign will be continued to save the environment, sea creatures in oceans/rivers and humans health. The students are also encouraged to plant as many plants/trees as possible to save the nature, animals and humans. They have planted in total more than 50 plants in their houses and at school collectively. The students are guided through in taking charge of the environmental actions together for a greener better world in saving the Mothere Nature.

Beaconhouse School System (Primary Section) Pakistan student's worked on the causes of climate change by making posters, 3d projects, healthy talk with school fellows. My grade 6 students are taking part in Climate Action Global Project.This is six weeks enquiry based project where they will collaborate with other countries.They will share their findings and learn from their peers about the impacts of climate change in other parts of the world.We all are very excited to do this project.I hope we will be able to achieve our goals.In first stage students are doing the research work and gathering information.They prepared the lists of cuases of climate change.They compile their research in the form of PPT. 

In groups, the students researched climate change and its meaning. Then the students presented their results in class and shared the knowledge

Students were given permit to join the Climate Change Project 2022 to ensure parents knew and approve of the said 'adventure' for the students during Values Education classes. Video presentations were given to present Climate Action Project 2022 together with lesson on climate change and its causes. THE GREAT CLIMATE DEBATE

When we talk about Climate Change the first thing that comes to mind is one of the main causes of Climate Change, is the burning of Fossil fuels.

Fossil fuels are made from decomposing plants and animals. These fuels are found in the Earth's crust and contain carbon and hydrogen, which can be burned for energy. Coal, oil, and natural gas are examples of fossil fuels.

Because economic growth leads to increased energy use and because cars consume fossil fuels, prosperity in developing countries (like China), leads to more global energy consumption.

But what about developing countries?

In the olden days and even now, A basic rule was followed, 

TO GET RICHER, YOU HAVE TO EMIT MORE.

This rule has led to fierce arguments between developed and developing countries about the fairness of reducing emission even though developing countries already do not have much.

But in the past decade, we have seen that preventing climate change is not necessarily coupled with economic growth.

Our students learn what climate change is by filling out posters. Which mentions why climate change? What is related to climate change? Where is climate change? Who is involved in climate change? When will climate change happen? And how to deal with climate change?

Gases caused by fossil fuels cause climate change. Erzurum city in Turkey has a very cold climate. Fossil fuel is used for heating for 8 months. These fossil fuels become greenhouse gases. It causes climate change. Students discussed the causes of climate change in class. Afterwards, they presented their friends with visual posters.

With my younger age group, we watched animations and videos about climate change appropriate to their level. We stopped and talked about it. I tried to form something in their minds about what climate change is. Afterwards, we investigated the causes of climate change on a local basis. We made banners. We tried to draw attention and explain what we were doing in the corridors, garden and classrooms throughout the school.

We discussed the causes of climate change with our students. We prepared the posters. We  walk in the school garden with the posters for a better world.

We have prepared painting activities for primary school students including SDGs figures. We believe that awereness begins at childhood. So next week we will visit pupils and give the paintings.

We organized a climate action march with posters made from waste to raise awareness of climate change with our students.

We do not want to pollute our universe.We try to do a model with cards.We cut the colourful cards and combine them and make a model world.My students know the importance of our universe.

To us climate change is, a change in the climate that occurs as a result of human activities that directly or indirectly disrupt the composition of the global atmosphere.
For this project, we did a brainstorming session in my classroom for the level of readiness about the climate change  then we examined the  climate change curriculum and chose this curriculum as a guide.Although my students were in the 6th grade, their readiness level was  very good.

The last 7 years have been recorded as the driest years in human history. Are we aware of the danger? We started to raise awareness about climate change with the slogan. We watched videos, together we created awareness by collecting thrown to the ground.

In our project, awareness activities are carried out with the ECO GIRLS team consisting of girls. Together with my students, we will provide climate change awareness and Sustainable life trainings for mothers. Thus, we aim to make mothers active in the fight against climate change.We aim to raise awareness in the society

Gr5I students of Delhi Pricate School has done a research on Climate change.

We are students of KG-1, ages 4  to 4.5, we started the climate action project with the climate launch assembly. Students wore the headband and they spoke about climate change.

They sang a song about their beloved planet earth. They brought posters too.

Common houseplants such as Spider plants, English ivies, Snake plants and Spade-leaf philodsons can improve indoor air quality. They take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen, and some can also remove toxins from the air. The amount of oxygen produced by these plants depends on the amount of light they receive, the type of soil they're grown in and the presence of microorganisms in the soil. Photosynthesis; The ability of plants to produce oxygen and remove toxins from the air depends on a variety of factors, including the species of plant, the amount of light it receives, the type of soil it's grown in and the presence or absence of microorganisms in the surrounding soil. Toxic Chemicals Houseplants can help reduce the level of toxins in the air by absorbing them from the air. Toxins found in the air include those emitted by synthetic materials such as carpets, paints, furniture upholstery, perfumes and cleaning products. Useful Plants According the University of Minnesota Extension Service, many common houseplants can improve indoor air quality, especially if they are placed near windows with southern exposures. Some common species of indoor houseplants that can remove pollutants from indoor air include the spider plant, English ivy, snake plant and spade-leaf Philodendron. To conclude, the size, health and suitability of your houseplant to your indoor growing environment determines how much oxygen it produces. You can noticeably improve your indoor air quality by growing a single houseplant large enough to fit in a 6- to 8 inch pot for every 100 to 125 square feet of floor space, depending on the species of plant. My students did so, they were engaged by  planting a plant that can grow indoors and outdoors, in this way it will provide oxygen and clear the air. This is a message that we want to give, me and my students, plant as much as trees,flowers as can because if all we so a small thing this turns into a big one and we can improve our planet's health. 

Our students made een presentation where they subscribe the main courses of climate change. This presentation was made by group 1.

Students of the 7th grade of elementary school, aged 13 and 14, discussed climate change. They defined climate change, listed some of the visible climate changes, and expressed their feelings about climate change. They hypothesized that the climate is changing and looked for evidence among scientific indicators. They chose indicators of rising earth temperature, melting glaciers and rising sea levels as the most relevant indicators of climate change.

Climate change is caused by global warming and causes the development of unfavorable climatic conditions on Earth, for example, an increase in temperature, sea level and precipitation. The main cause of climate change is the burning of fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas, which releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Other human activities, such as agriculture and deforestation, also contribute to the increase in greenhouse gases.

Project aims to innovatively develop and implement education programs for sustainable development through the development of competences and active participation of students in the field of sustainable development while strengthening the partnership between schools and local communities in raising awareness of sustainable development.The activities will encourage students to act and initiate actions aimed at achieving SDGs and sustainable society in its entirety.A series of educational, practical and creative activities and methods of innovative and experiential learning will raise the level of knowledge, awareness and skills for the adoption of green lifestyle in accordance with sustainable development. Kako bi opstali, moramo razmišljati o ciljevima održivog razvoja i kako reciklirati novi otpad te načine na koji ććemo proizvoditi hranu i energiju. In the first week, the students had a workshop and talked about the climate and the causes of global climate change. They made a list of activities and made posters about Climate Action Day by painting them and making them in the digital tool Canva. The task is for them to go around their neighborhood for the next week and photograph everything that they think humans have done badly for the environment.

My school students   researched  the causes of climate change in Hungray. We discussed the topic, and we made some are work . They painted beautiful pictures.

The population is increasing and our planet is suffering because we are not taking care of it.  As a teacher, I decided to let my students  reflect about the environment in order to take action.What can we do ? I decided to start from the basis that is to work on three "Rs" for our environment and our future. My  primary goal has been to make my students aware and conscious of the problems related to  environment , to reach parents through students, and to try to bring some habits into the society . While doing this, my primary goal has been to leave as little waste as possible to the nature and to prevent waste by using digital tools. I also tried to explain to my students the importance of carbon and water footprints . This project is focused on developing knowledge , skills and positive attitudes about environment with 3R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), with the help and involvment of parents,too.

The class made a list of causes and we also discussed opinions of trusted experts.

This week 2nd and 3rd graders learned about Global Warming and what is the difference between climate and weather. Global Warming is the increase in temperatures in the world. Weather is what happens every day in a specific place and climate is the average weather in a certain place over a long period of time. The Climate is changing everywhere. Им беа доделени специјални садови (теглички) за собирање стари батерии, едукативни сликовници и тетратки со стикери со еколошки пораки и содржини.

During the first week students of 4 grades (10A, 10B, 12A,12C) learnt about causes of climate change. In each grade the members of the school team "SMILE" delivered the presentations and organized discussions, As a result we created our longest list of causes.

It was a week full of activities, the students from the 8th form created a list of causes of climate change, they tried to define what ic climate change. They drew some pictures and created a presentation and a video about their ideas. It was very interesting.

Discuție despre schimbări climatice, evidențierea fenomenelor observate: vară secetoasă, incendii de vegetație, temperaturi ridicate, precipitații în cantități reduse, etc.

Este evident că clima planetei noastre s-a schimbat din totdeauna. De-a lungul a sute de milioane de ani în istoria Pământului, temperatura s-a schimbat foarte mult, cu aproximativ 10 grade Celsius. Dacă climatul se schimba foarte mult mai ales spre răcire se produceau catastrofe naturale, astfel că, timp de 10 milioane de ani au dispărut multe organisme vii, supraviețuind doar cele adaptate la noile condiții. Schimbarile climatice, actualmente, sunt cauzate în special de mărirea populației și dezvoltarea societății umane, care are necesități din ce în ce mai mari, de unde se produc defrișări mai frecvente, mărirea numărului de transporturi etc. Alte cauze ale schimbărilor climatice sunt încălzirea globală, gazele cu efect de seră, arderea combustibilelor, gazele fluorurate etc. 

În prezentarea noastră, noi am abordat problema fenomenului El Nino și La Nina. La Nina este un fenomen climatic, caracterizat prin temperaturi neobișnuit de scăzut ale apei de la suprafața oceanului Pacific în zona ecuatorială, opus al fenomenului El Nino, caracterizat prin temperaturi neobișnuite ridicate. Datorită curenților oceanici, efectul său asupra climei este resimțit în special în dreptul Indoneziei, Malaysiei, Australiei de Nord și Americii de Sud. Impactul social și economic al temperaturilor ridicate (El Nino) asupra Republicii Moldova se manifestă prin disponibilitate redusă a apei pentru populație, creșterea cererii de irigare și poluarea sporită de apă, riscul salinizării apei, eroziunea sporită, deteriorarea infrastructurii, riscul înalt de deșertificare etc. Impactul fenomenului La Nino în localitatea noastră este unul amenințător și se mnifestă prin cantitatea redusă a precipitațiilor, secetă, temperaturi ridicate în timpul verii, incendii forestiere etc.

Tododată, noi am venit cu modalități de porevenire a fenomenelor El Nino și La Nina, precum: reducerea CO2 prin utilizarea frecventa a bicicletei, consum redus de elenrgie electrică, plantarea arborilor, reutilizarea materiilor prime și construirea a cât mai multe zone verzi în orașe.

For the first week, we have prepared a google slides presentation for speaking about the causes of climate changes in the Republic of Moldova.

Climate change represents shifts in temperature and weather. These changes used to be normal, but since the bad human's influence, they got worse for nature.

Due to climate changes, deserts are expanding, wildfires are more common, storms are more intensive...

Global climate change is the biggest threat to health and humans in 21st century.

So many of these impacts are already felt, and it will be so much worse if we don't change our bad habbits and lifestyle.

In today's changing world we experience climate change all the time. We need to take responsibility for our planet and start to act starting from small actions in our homes, school and local community. One of them can be planting a tree and saving the energy. We an also involve others in such actions snc make them aware of the existing problem. 

Students read  local news and search Wikipedia to find useful information.

We go on participating in this wonderful project for the 3rd year. Our students are strongly motivated. And, because the clock is ticking, this week they serached and made their own definition of climate change, they discussed and debated the causes of climate change, making the longest list of causes and they made infographics and a video to share with their colleagues and the community.

This is the result of the research work done by a group of students who attend Escola Secundária Almeida Garrett, in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. In this first week's work, the students debated the definition of climate change, researched upon its causes in the students' neighbourhood, created a list of causes, took some photos and created a PowerPoint presentation. Bearing all this mind, they finally created this video.

Os alunos de 4 turmas de 7º ano e da turma CEF da Escola Básica Dr. Alberto Iria, em Olhão, refletiram sobre as causas das alterações climáticas em contexto de sala de aula. Posteriormente, participaram numa campanha de limpeza de lixo marinho na Doca de Pesca de Olhão, onde recolheram lixo e selecionaram alguns elementos/materiais para futuramente realizarem um instalação artística, reaproveitando materiais, de forma a sensibilizarem para o problema da poluição dos mares e oceanos e a importância da àgua no nosso planeta. Serão realizadas mais campanhas de limpeza de lixo marinho. As turmas de 7ºano irão também realizar postais ilustrados alusivos aos objetivos da Ação Climática, de Proteger a Vida Marinha e de Proteger a Vida Terrestre; os alunos da turma CEF irão realizar um trabalho conjunto de turma alusivo à Ação Climática - os efeitos das mudanças climáticas.

 O Projeto envolve a  Turma D do 8º ano  de escolariedade  da Escola Básica  nº2 de Condeixa-a-Nova.  É na disciplina de Ciências Naturais lecionada  pela docente Helena Póvoa que está a decorrer o Projeto.

Prescolarii de la grupa mare, de la Gradinita Nr.31, din TgJiu, structura a Gradinitei ,,Lumea Copiilor’’ au desfasurat in saptamana 26.09-30.09.2022 activitati prin care au avut sansa sa cunoasca ce insemna schimbarile climatice.In urma vizionarii filmuletelor din cadrul proiectului Climate Action Project,.Copiii au purtat un dialog despre ce insemna schimbari climatice si cum se manifesta ele la nivelul orasului nostru , dar si la nivelul intregii lumi.Au manifestat emotii atunci cand au desenat Pamntul vesel sau trist.Au dat exemple de manifestari ale schimbarilor climatice din propria experienta .Au inteles ca seceta din ultimii ani sau furtunile sunt efectele schimbarilor climatice.

The preschoolers from the large group Step by Step "FLORILE", from the Kindergarten P.P. "FLOAREA-SOARELUI "Reșița" were introduced to the Climate Action Project, by presenting the activities that will take place during the 6 weeks and how important the Earth is for our existence. Their curiosity was aroused by a video presentation of "Paxi and the Greenhouse Effect", a Power Point on the causes of global warming, and a variety of materials related to the theme. The subject being a fascinating one for them, they asked questions, found answers and wanted to find out as many things as possible from the project.

Încălzirea globală reprezintă un fenomen prin care creșterea temperaturii în imediata apropiere a solului conduce la schimbări climatice: furtuni violente, temperatura aerului crește brusc, alternează perioade ploioase cu cele călduroase etc.Încălzirea globală afectează toate viețuitoarele deoarece le poate distruge mediul de viață.

Împreună cu elevii am realizat machete cu diverse medii de viață.

Preșcolarii grupei ,,Steluțele”, de la Grădinița P.P.,,Dumbrava Minunată”, Reșița, au vizionat un videoclip depre schimbările climatice, după care au pictat un poster prin care au dorit să își exprime grija pentru pământul aflat în suferință.

Unitatea de învățare curentă ne-a adus la cunoștință lucruri interesante despre Univers și planete. Având în vedere faptul că trăim pe o planetă, elevii clasei I, au descoperit ce este încălzirea globală și cât rău face aceasta planetei noastre, au întocmit o listă cu cauzele care au condus la încălzirea globală și au participat cu interes la restul activității.

In the first week of the project, we talked to the children about the earth and how important it is to us, presenting the Climate Action project. We then watched a video from which the preschoolers learned what happens to our planet if we don't take care of it, and so we decided that in the coming weeks we will do small things that will have a big impact for the earth.

WEEK 1 - DEFINITION OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Preșcolarii de la Grădinița PN Carașova, grupă combinată, au aflat care este casa tuturor: Pământul. Au aflat informații adecvate vârstei, despre Planeta Pământ, despre schimbările climatice.

Poluarea si defrisarea sunt cauze ale schimbarilor climatice. Planeta s-a încalzit cu mai mult de 1 grad Celsius față de temperaturile existente înaintea erei industriale. Asa s-a ajuns ca, toamna, pomii fructiferi sa aiba si roade si...flori!

Am prezentat elevilor date despre ce inseamna schimbarile climatice, ce se intampla in natura şi cum este influentata viata noastra .am discutat despre cauze şi despre urmarile pe care le observam in mediu şi în calitatea vieţii.

We are a group of enthusiastic teenagers from Iancu de Hunedoara National College, Romania. More exactly Transylvania, you know, "land of Dracula". :) But unlike the famous count Dracula, we are not dark and dangerous, but open hearted ,environmentally friendly and completely aware of nowadays worrying environmental issues of the world we live in, threats both locally and globally. As we have grown from carefree children into active teenagers, we have set our minds to join this fight against climate change, and through our lifestyle and actions,make a difference. Guided by our teacher, Ms Kiss,we truly believe that every small step counts, and  with joined forces, our voices will be heard.Our motto is:"Every journey starts with a single step."and we hope to be part of great changes together, as participants in this project. Împreună cu elevii clasei a II-a de la Școala Gimnazială Vad, județul Cluj am discutat despre încălzirea globală și efectele acestui fenomen. Copiii au vizionat filmulețe și prezentări pe această temă și, cu ajutorul lor, au identificat cauzele schimbărilor climatice și efectele încălzirii globale. Au redat prin desene aceste aspecte, valorificându-și fiecare elev potențialul creativ.  Activitatea a avut drept scop să-i facă pe elevi conştienţi de faptul că prin comportamentul personal pot influența clima, dar și faptul că rolul şcolii în viaţa lor este acela de a creşte calitatea educaţiei oferite acestora prin intermediul unor activităţi ecologice de protejare a mediului înconjurător.

Am discutat cu elevii clasei aVIIIa despre schimbarile climatice ce afecteaza tot mai mult viata oamenilor. Copiii au cautat informatii si au prezentat factorii care cauzează schimbările climatice si au constatat ca impactul cel mai mare îl au activitățile umane precum arderea combustibililor fosili și tăierea pădurilor. Încă de la începutul Revoluției Industriale, influențele umane asupra climei au crescut substanțial. Pe lângă impactul asupra mediului înconjurător, aceste activități schimbă suprafața pământului și emit multe substanțe în atmosferă. Am urmarit impreuna un filmulet despre cauzele schimbarilor climatice la nivel global.

Vom initia activitati care sa ii ajute pe cei mici sa constientizeze faptul ca sta in puterea noatra sa avem o planeta curata, sanatoasa. Padurile sunt importante pentru calitatea vietii noastre deoarece absorb cantitati mari de dioxid de carbon. Pe masura ce incalzirea globala creste, cresc si efectele schimbarilor climatice.

Elevii clasei a II-a A de la Scoala Gimnaziala Andrei Muresanu din Ploiesti, participa cu bucurie la acest proeict pentru ca iubesc natura. Am inceput discutand despre mediul inconjurator, anotimpurile preferate, sarbatorile petrecute in familie sau la scoala ori in comunitate. Am discutat si ne-am lamurit depre diferentele dintre vreme si clima. Am stabilit cuvintele cheie pentru fiecare. Am gandit cauzele pentru care in natura au loc fenomene extreme, schimbari importante in temperatura aerului si infatisarea pamantului. Am colorat, am discutat, am scris, am invatat!
