The main discussion of the first week was about what is the difference between Weather and Climate and the Causes of Climate Change.
On week 2, students had discussed about effects of climate changes in 4 major scenarios: Animal life, plants, Human Activities and Weather patterns.
Students also started to prepare themselves to meet students from Belgium on October 15th. They started to create a presentation of the School and the causes of climate change in their city.
During Week 3, our students had the opportunity to talk to students from Belgium.
They explored and talked about local causes and effects of climate change.
During week 4, our students reflected about how is possible to change some actions in our daily life to help to prevent climate changes.
They also discuss what are individuals actions and governmental solutions.
During week 5, our students have learned what is sustainability and took a closer look in what the 3 most sustainable cities in the world have been doing to help the earth.
During the last week of CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT, students have created a reusable bag. Using only an old T-shirt and a scissor.
This is also a way to practice the 3 R's - Reuse, Reduce and Recycle.
