Sheila Freehill


Sheila Freehill has been an ELL teacher in Longmont, Colorado at Eagle Crest Elementary School for the past 12 years and has taught for 20 years. Sheila teaches K-5 grade and focuses her instruction on helping her students to learn how to make the world a better place by communicating, creating and inspiring one another. She runs a global education club that uses the SDG's to teach her students how to take action to improve their world. Last year, she was a fellow in Morocco with Teachers for Global Classrooms. She recently became a National Geograhic Educator and is committed to using education to improve our world. She loves to spend her free time with her family and friends enjoying the wilderness.
