My name is Rina Ran, I am from Israel. I hold a M.A in Humanities from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I used to teach in high school, and the last 20 years I teach at Weizman primary school at the center of Israel. Our school is a green school, the theme of environmentalism and the preservation of the world is deeply embedded and applied at our school. In recent years, together with my class, I participated in some nature conservation projects, and the subject is very familiar to my students. I am an active teacher in the Microsoft World Educators Community, and for me, joining the The Impact project was an obvious step in my work with my students. In recent years, together with my class, I participated in other nature conservation projects, and the subject is very familiar to my students. My mission this year is to continue to raise awareness of young students about environmental protection, to instill in them the tolerance and recognition of different cultures around the world, and to show sensitivity and tolerance to others. My teaching is based on interdisciplinary teaching and collaborations with teachers in Israel and around the world.
