We are all living together on a single planet, which is threatened by our own actions. And if you don't have some kind of global cooperation, nationalism is not on the right level to tackle the problems,  whether it’s climate change or whether it's technological disruption.
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
Climate change is a global problem. The planet is warming because of the growing level of greenhouse gas emissions from human activity. If this trend continues, truly catastrophic consequences are likely to ensue from rising sea levels to reduced water availability, to more heat waves and fires.
We the community of *MPS HARIYALI VILLAGE CBSE SCHOOL vicinity  members have tried our best to create awareness and have taken asap roles and duties for a bright future of all of us.

CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT WEEK 02

We cannot burn our way to the future. We cannot pretend the danger does not exist — or dismiss it because it affects someone else.

With this motto in mind we have aggressively taken stern steps to deal with Climatic issues.
The environment is where we all meet; where all of us have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.
Climate change, if unchecked, is an urgent threat to health, food supplies, biodiversity, and livelihoods across the globe.
Climate change is destroying our path to sustainability. Ours is a world of looming challenges and increasingly limited resources. Sustainable development offers the best chance to adjust our course.

CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT WEEK 03

MPS HARIYALI VILLAGE CBSE SCHOOL,

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC; IAST: bṛhanmuṃbaī mahānagarapālikā), also known as the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), is one of the biggest governing civic body of India based in Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra.
Climate change is the long-term increase in the earth's average surface temperature and the large-scale changes in global, regional, and local weather patterns that result from that increase, caused by a significant increase in the levels of greenhouse gases that are produced by the use of fossil fuels.

Global Warming: The rising average temperature of the earth's lower layers, including the ocean and atmosphere. Such warming occurs from the heat being trapped in the earth's atmosphere due to greenhouse gases.

Climate Change: The varying environmental conditions that influence the planet's weather patterns.
Although used in conjunction with global warming, climate change doesn't specifically refer to warming or its causes. Thus, environmentalists often prefer this term because of its broader consideration of all the changes happening on the planet in addition to rising temperatures.

CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT WEEK 04

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai being one of the biggest institutions of India solely aims at cloth bags & struggled hard to achieve it 100%.

MPS HARIYALI VILLAGE CBSE SCHOOL too belongs to MCGM department and taken initiatives in cloth and kids creatively worked on a Rap song sung in mother tongue on Save Water.

.Cloth bags can be used for many years, depending on the raw material used, sewing quality, usage areas and shape.
Textile dye and water based paints which are not harmful to health are used in the prints of cloth bags with a nature friendly label on.
A cloth bag according to the size and material quality, can carry up to 10-15 kg.
You can demand custom prints with desired colors and patterns on the cloth bags.

CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT WEEK 05

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, is one of the biggest Organization in India & Proud to say MPS HARIYALI VILLAGE CBSE SCHOOL Vikhroli, is an integral  part of this biggest institution.  Which caters to Global issues n Global Climatic issues for a better tomorrow.

One of the grand challenges in  Asia is confronting today is weather-extreme events which have been exacerbated by climate change to a large extent. The frequent occurrences of floods, heatwaves, droughts, increased cyclonic activity in the recent decade have made life miserable for the region’s inhabitants. Recent IPCC reports show that climate extremities will be higher and more severe in the future, and demand the earnest attention of all concerned – political leaders, policymakers and researchers alike.

Tackling climate change and fostering sustainable development agendas are two
mutually reinforcing sides of the same coin. Climate change exacerbates threats,
as well as makes delivering on the sustainable development agenda more difficult
because it reverses positive trends, creates new uncertainties and raises the costs of
adaptation and building resilience.
The global nature of these challenges calls for the widest possible cooperation
aimed at accelerating the reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions and adapt-
ing to the adverse impacts of climate change, in the context of sustainable develop-
ment and efforts to eradicate poverty.
Scenarios projecting emissions growth indicate that there will be a substantial
gap between the maximum global emissions.
