Climate change includes both the global warming driven by human emissions of greenhouse gases, and the resulting shifts in weather patterns,
My team of students from Lodha World School, Thane(Mumbai - India) talks about Climate Change and the local causes that leads to this shift.
The effects of climate change span the physical environment, ecosystems and human societies. It also includes the economic and social changes which stem from living in a warmer world. Human-caused climate change is one of the threats to sustainability.
Students have chosen a country from another continent and have documented the causes and effects of climate change in that area.
Students of Lodha World School, Thane (Class I - B) have put forth their solutions in three parts-
1. Individual level
2. Organisational level
3. Government level
Our students had interaction with their student mentor , Vlera Hassani.
Students presented their solutions ranging for problems like deforestation, water pollution, excessive use of air conditioners and bush fires.
Ms Vlera listened to them and also gave them a feedback.
