Climate change: Meaning & Causes

In various meetings, Students were apprised about the project on climate change.They were motivated to explore & understand the meaning of climate change.For this, students were given a task to interact with their parents and grandparents to learn about their experiences on climate over the age.

Impacts of climate change

Students explored about the impacts of climate change by inquiring their parents and grandparents.

They also discussed their experiences regarding climate change and it's impacts.

They feel concerned about various life forms.

Causes & Effects globally

Students explored more about causes & effects of climate change globally.They learnt about various environmental issues related to it like various types of pollution,threat to biodiversity,Water depletion & others.They search about various countries of various continents to know the global challenges.

Potential solutions for climate change and environmental issues

Students brain stormed & explored or the viable solutions.

They watched the various videos on the solutions for problem of climate change and committed to adopt them.One student's family bought an electric scooty at place of fossil fuel run engine.All students planted trees in their neighborhood.They inspired others to always plant a tree on their birthdays.

Meaningful actions

Students adopted meaningful actions by planting trees, saving energy, buying solar lanterns for diwali , segregating single use plastic waste, reducing & reusing paper by making folders & bags.

Attended the interested lego building Webinar.

Call on government,take steps for the solutions

Informed to the concerned authorities of the education department about the project & actions taken.Delhi Directorate of Education tweeted about it in appreciation.Attended the climate action day Webinar.Learnt a lot during these 6 weeks.
