I am a Computer Science and Robotics Teacher in Arsakeia Schools in Psychiko, Athens, Greece, and a Teacher Trainer. I hold a BSc, a MSc, a MEd and a PhD from the University of Athens (UoA). From 1999 to 2001, I worked as a Research Fellow in the Computer Technology Institute (CTI) in Athens. Since 2004, I have been lecturing Educational Technology in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs as a Research Fellow at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of UoA. In 2009, I created the Educational Online Social Network “Logo in Education: a community of practice and learning”. From 2017 to 2019, I served as a Member of the eTwinning Hellenic National Support Service Pedagogical Team. My research lies on the area of constructionist learning environments, which support exploratory and collaborative learning focusing on the development of Computational Thinking. My research interests include Computer Science Education, Didactics of Informatics, Didactics of Science, Environmental Education, Teacher Training & Development, Web-based Education, Educational Social Networking.
