The students introduced themselves by creating an eco bit moji. This was followed by a short video introducing climate change, which we discussed later. They presented their conclusions on climate change through drawings and the creation of a common hammer. All this was exhibited in the section on eco-activities which is located in the school hall.
had a virtual meeting with students from Mumbai, India. The students introduced themselves, presented what they have learned so far within the project. As a final activity of this meeting, the students in Padlet wrote about solutions for climate change and the creation of visual representations.
Through a storm of ideas, students suggested ways to protect the environment. Then we talked about what we can do and three activities were singled out, which we realized in our close environment. Each of us brought flowers from our home and planted them in the schoolyard, planted a few flowers in our classroom as well. We had an eco-action to collect garbage. We rode bicycles around our school and had fun.
The activities for the 5th week are aimed at sharing the findings and solutions by the students. As a solution, we decided to point out the recycling. Students made recycling boxes. They covered them with colored paper and placed symbols for recycling plastic and paper. In the same way, they created tree from plastic. The plastic works were exhibited in the creative eco corner created by the students.
