Deforestation
Burning of fossil fuels
Overpopulation
Excessive use of vehicles
Smoke from factories
climate change is expected to stunt plant growth. Declining plant growth would destroy forests and dramatically change the habitats that are necessary for many species to survive.
It is predicted that by the year 2050, if nothing is done, we could see 20–30% of the animal and plants species on Earth becoming extinct.
As climate change transforms global ecosystems, it affects everything from the places we live to the water we drink to the air we breathe. From the poles to the tropics, the oceans to our cities, there is fluctuations in temperature that are leading to a climate crisis.
To address Climate Change, we have to work together. We all live and work in various communities, and can organize our friends, family, and co-workers to tackle climate change together. The more people we involve in climate solutions, the more our impact multiplies.
Climate change is a real and undeniable threat to our entire civilization.
The effects are already visible and will be catastrophic unless we act now. Through education, innovation and adherence to our climate commitments, we can make the necessary changes to protect the planet.
CLIMATE CHANGE IS A TERRIBLE PROBLEM AND IT ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO BE SOLVED. IT DESERVES TO BE A HUGE PRIORITY ” WE SHOULD TAKE URGENT ACTIONS TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS IMPACTS
