The school started the project on September 28 on week 1 plan. We downloaded the curriculum and lesson plans. All the students of grade VI to grade VIII have oriented about the project the time plan of the project. Most of the students worked very enthusiastically and completed all the three tasks given in week 1.
Week 2 went very productive. The meetings were held to orient about the tasks assigned for week 2. They planted the saplings and shared the pictures. Students discussed their findings and research work, they watched the work done by other schools from India and school from other countries. They researched the effects of climate change in Asia on plants, animals, weather patterns and human activities. Studends created google form and conducted interviews from relatives and one student conducted the interview of a Scientist in ICAR ( Indian Council of Agricultural Research).

Week three went very productive. Students watched the videos made by other schools, had the collaborative meetings, shared their experiences, done the tasks given for week three. They also discussed possible solutions. It was a great learning experience for all of us.
WATCHING YOUNG MINDS DISCUSSING THE CAUSES, EFFECTS AND COMEUP WITH SOLUTION IS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. THIS GENERATION IS MORE AWARE AND ENTHUSIASTIC TO MAKE THIS EARTH A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE. AMAZING TO SEE THE STUDENTS WITH SOLUTIONS, PLEDGE NOT TO FIRE CRACKERS ON THIS DIWALI TO REDUCE THE POLLUTION.
IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SEE STUDENTS COMING UP WITH SOLUTIONS.
