I have a degree in Applied Mathematics with Computer Graphics and a postgraduate course in Computer Science.  I'm teaching for 20 years. I start teaching career in the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Science and Technology (University of Coimbra), in computer aided design. Also work in the School of Arts of Coimbra and in Instituto Bissaya Barreto. I was a Managing Partner in a Multimedia and Website Creation Firm for 4 years and I worked in the Computer Graphics Centre of Coimbra for 3 years. This was where I developed virtual environments for Expo98.

In recent years I have been involved in vocational and professional education as a teacher in technological areas. I'm one of the teachers responsible for the Robotics Club. I´m involved in eTwinning projects and won the quality seal with the project “Teenagers in Portugal and Denmark”, in 2015, as well as another in 2019 and 2020.
