Daniel Otieno, is an educator in the Department of Educational Management Policy and Curriculum Studies at Kenyatta University, Kenya. He holds a PhD in Educational Administration. He has taught in several Universities for over 10 years. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and book chapters in the sub-disciplines of values-based leadership, digital literacy, blended learning and strategic management. He lectures in Educational Management/Leadership, Educational Research, Monitoring and Evaluation and use of ICT in Education. His primary research focus is on integration of ICT in education, values-based leadership, organizational performance and the use of emerging pedagogies in digital and competency-based education. His current research focusses on internationalization, virtual academic exchanges in higher education, pluralism and inclusion and sustainable development. He is a certified Life Coach and an Erasmus + Virtual Exchange facilitator working with Soliya, COIL, Sharing Perspectives and Unicollaboration. He leads the Center for Values Education, an organization that advocates for mainstreaming values in organisations and workplaces.
